Description of Hydrophilic PTFE Membrane Filter
The hydrophilic PTFE membrane filter is permanently hydrophilized by low protein binding and has excellent chemical stability and high sample recovery. The hydrophilic membrane filter is widely used in HPLC and LC/MS/MS.
Other brands are hydrophobic, but Hawach has a special hydrophilic PTFE filter, which also has high performance for aqueous solutions.
PTFE membrane filter is the strongest membrane filter for strong acids, alcohol, and so on. A full range of products is available, diameters and pore sizes can be customized, and OEM services are available.
Features of Hydrophilic PTFE Membrane Filter
- Strong hydrophilicity and hydrophilic stability;
- Don’t need to be pre-wetted when used;
- Good anti-pollution properties;
- Good chemical compatibility, strong acid, and alkali resistance;
- Available in both sterile and non-sterile membrane filters;
- Roll type and round disc type filters.
Applications
- Filtration of aggressive organic or strong acid solutions, alcohols, bases, and aromatics.
- Filtration of high-viscosity liquid, ultrapure water, and deionized water.
